Scatter Plot: More Experience = More Pay

A Scatter Plot is a graph that depicts the correlation between two variable, in this case, the variables happen to be the correlation between the years of experience and income a person makes. each variable is plotted on its on line, that is, years of experience makes up the x-axis, while income makes up the y-axis. Because both variables are increasing, it can be assumed that there is a positive relationship between the number of years one works and the amount one receives as pay. These two variables are strongly related, as a trend line is easily formed to show the general relationship.
